Why it’s important

This privacy policy applies to personal information which may be collected or held by us. In this document the term “personal information” refers to information of an identifiable individual, which is the definition contained in the Privacy Act 1993. Accordingly the term “personal information” in this context does not refer to information about companies and other legal entities.

We may be holding your personal information as a consequence of your dealings or communications with us, for instance by registering for or using services. You may supply us with personal information by using our websites, mobile applications, products or services. If you do any of these things or otherwise supply personal information to us, or authorise or permit us to have it, you consent to this privacy policy and in doing so you authorise the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure and use of your personal information, as set out below. You have a right at any time to opt out of some or all of this policy, and by doing that to withdraw any authority or consent within it. However if you do that we may be unable to provide you with all the services and benefits that you would otherwise have access to, such as receiving information or market updates or offers of goods or services.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimise, and serve ads on the internet based on someone’s past visits to our website. Personal information is not stored by us or any third-parties. You are free to opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting Google’s Opt Out Page. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. However if you do so that may restrict some of our services and market analysis.

Business transfers

In the unlikely event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, sale of assets, bankruptcy or insolvency, then we may transfer or share your personal information. In this case, we will let you know before your personal information is transferred and becomes part of a different policy.

Access correction and removal of information

You have the right to access and correct your personal information at any time or opt out of receiving further communications from us. There are some exceptions to this right set out in the Privacy Act.

We will make every effort to communicate any significant changes to you directly. Your continued use of the services and website will be deemed acceptance of any updated policy.
